Atropolis's deep passion of diverse music culture's has lead him to work with artist's from India, Colombia, Ghana, Mexico, South Africa, London... the list goes on. With a degree in music composition and ethnomusicology, Atropolis is Adam Partridge's alter ego that explores international styles of music fused with hip-hop, moombahton, dance-hall, house and other diverse genres. A remix Atropolis and Jeremy Sole produced for Dom La Nena, is a sound example of this fusion. Licensed in the Starz Network show, Power, this remix blends traditional Brazilian folk with trap and juke rhythms. In 2014, Atropolis had the honor to co-produce an official remix for Grammy Award Winning Artist's Celia Cruz and Willie Colon, for Fania Records, with his former collective Cumba Mela. Most recently Atropolis was commissioned by the Queen's Museum to co-produce a track with DJ Ushka, for Mel Chin's exhibition, All Over The Place. Ableton LIve Instructor
Adam Partridge, aka Atropolis, was one of the senior Ableton LIve instructor at Dubspot NYC. Having taught over 450 students, Adam had the great fortune to teach the former front man of Major Lazer, Skerrit Bwoy, lead singer of TV on The Radio, Tunde, and DJ Riobamba. In the summer of 2018, Adam was hired by Grandmaster Flash to be his Ableton Live Engineer, to transcribe one of the pioneer's of hip-hop's idea's into music. With year's of experience teaching novice beginner's to professional artist's, Adam is known for his incredible sense of patience and knowledge.
